


What We Provide for Your Private River Trip
- We shop for and pack all the food, based on your requests from our Menu Guide.
- We help you find a shuttle company, or help you run your own.
- We provide all the group equipment you will need for your private river trip--the kitchen, coolers, toilet system, fire pan, cook tent, and gear boat. We will even row it down the river and cook for your crew.
- At the end of your trip, take the leftover food with you or let us deal with it.
As Private Boaters You Will Provide:
- The appropriate vessels for the section of river you want to run. Tour personal camping equipment--tents, sleeping bags and pads.
- Warm clothes and personal items, such as sunscreen.
- Your camp chair and dry bag if you have them. If not, rent them from us.
- Basic safety equipment, such as PFD, rescue rope and first-aid kit.
- Any permits required for the section of river you want to travel.
- The knowledge and ability to safely run the level of whitewater you choose.
- A desire to have fun and be happy in a beautiful and truly awesome place!
Our Qualifications
- Professional river guide for the past 9 years on the Upper Colorado, Arkansas, and North Platte rivers, on rapids through Class 5. (on scale from 1 to 5)
- Qualified raft guide trainer with over 3,000 river miles.
- Avid private boater on the Dolores and San Juan rivers, and the canyons of Big Gore, Byers Canyon, Pump House, Westwater and Cataract on the Colorado River.
- Trip leader and planner on private expeditions up to 4 weeks duration.
- First Aid and CPR training.
- River Rescue Training through Rescue 3 International.
- Nine years cooking on river trips and 3 years in restaurants--breakfast, lunch and dinner.
